The Elected Officials for 2024
President
The Chief Executive Officer:. presides at Chapter meetings,
represents the Chapter, and executes contracts.
Vice President
Tracks membership, provides materials for same,
assumes duties of the President in absence of President.
Recording Secretary
Takes minutes.
Assumes duties of President in absence of President and Vice-President.
Treasurer
Handles income, expenses and banking,
reimburses members, prepares a monthly report of finances.
Social Chair
Sets monthly party themes,
plans social activities,
purchases or delegates purchase of supplies.
Board Member
Official representative to both Board of Directors meetings.
Serves as a delegate at the Convention.
Corresponding Secretary
Mails flyers, meeting minutes and announcements,
assists the Vice President with the mailing list.
Queen
Ambassador to the other Chapters.
Attends and reports on coronations at other chapters.

Assistant Social Chair
Works with the Social Chair in planning and implementing chapter events.
Arranges for refreshments.
Dance Rules
Representative to the Dance Rules committee, which sets regulations for official NSD dance competitions.
Equipment Manager
Keeps inventory of equipment. Maintains and does needed repairs to keep items working well.

Marketing/Venue Liaison
Interacts with the studio owner; advertises and represents our chapter to the wider dancing world.
Newsletter - Dance Whispers
Writes the Chapter's article for the NSD bimonthly newsletter, the Dance Whispers,
and submits it to the editor.
Photographer
Take photos at functions, maintains a collection of pictures,
provides photos for brochures and flyers.
Webmaster
Maintains the website. Updates online flyers, forms and listings.
Consults with the other chapter webmasters.
