Bakersfield Dance Weekend ("Board Meeting")

Traditionally held in March, in 2024 is Mar 22-24 March.
An "everything-included mini vacation," attendees enjoy lots of dancing, a professional show, and more. The package price includes a formal dinner on Saturday, and a lavish breakfast Sunday morning.

NSD Convention - 5 Dances

Runs every year over Labor Day Weekend, Friday to Monday, in a different location each year. In 2024 the Palomar Chapter hosts the convention in San Diego, CA from 30 Aug - 2 Sept.  It's a party weekend! The package includes dances in the afternoons and evenings: five dances, one with a formal dinner.  It also includes Monday breakfast and after-dance "hospitalities" with food, drink and cameraderie.

Chapters generally have one dance per month, sometimes more. There are additional parties like charity benefits and formal events.
