Monthly Dances
Our monthly dance in Van Nuys, a great place to use all
those lessons and show off your natural ability.
Anniversary Ball
The SFV Chapter was founded In June of 1961, so every
year in June, we celebrate our Chapter's birthday!
We mark the founding of our Chapter with a gala party.
Coronation
At this dressy dinner dance in November we crown our new Queen.
Afterwards, there is a fun party with lots of dancing.
Expect to be entertained by an exciting dance performance.
Holiday Ball
Our December party is especially festive, and we dance
and celebrate to make the last party of the year a blast.

Chapter names link to official coronation flyers when available - usually two months or so beforehand. The Bakersfield chapter holds their coronation during their major event (see the links at the right side of this page). Bakersfield Dance Weekend ("Board Meeting")
Traditionally held in March, in 2025 is Mar 28-30 March.
An "everything-included mini vacation," attendees enjoy
lots of dancing, a professional show, and more. The
package price includes a formal dinner on Saturday, and a
lavish breakfast Sunday morning.

No competitions at the 2024 event
NSD Convention - 5 Dances
Runs every year over Labor Day Weekend, Friday to Monday,
in a different location each year. In 2025 the Golden Gate Chapter hosts the convention
in San Francisco, CA from 29 Aug - 1 Sept.
It's a party weekend! The package includes dances in the afternoons and evenings: five dances, one with a formal dinner.
It also includes Monday breakfast and after-dance "hospitalities" with food, drink and cameraderie.

Chapters generally have one dance per month, sometimes more. There are additional parties like charity benefits and formal events.
